About Sevdah Handmade
Sevdah is a word I borrowed from the Bosnian culture I married into. While I initially thought to look for a Bosnian word to make my brand unique, I really found one that personified my vision.Sevdah most often represents remembrance of times of love and happiness in life.This word embodies the love I put into my work, and the hope that it accompanies you in the happiest moments in your life!
I started making polymer clay earrings as a hobby during quarantine. I was in desperate need of a creative outlet, and fell in love with working with polymer clay. I soon realized that one person can definitely own too many earrings (I’m sure i’m breaking a female code by admitting that), but I didn’t want to stop creating new pieces. A lot of love and hard work goes into each and every piece, and I just hope that they are able to bring people as much joy as they bring me.
